OUR STORY

Dan and Claudia Masseth started Magic Photo Art in 1979, processing film and printing enlargements for area photographers. Dan was able to obtain original negatives from various Bismarck and Mandan photographers from the 1930s through the 1960s. It took 3 decades to go through their work and pick out the “cream of the crop” which are the most interesting images to the people of the Bismarck/Mandan area. These include iconic buildings, landmarks, sports and people that created enduring memories. Dan also added other captivating North Dakota images, keying in on the ND Badlands.
